Territory Managers (Queensland and NSW)
Job Description:
This position contributes to the success of Seashell Industries by promoting and managing the sale of our products within a designated geographic territory.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Develops sales plan for assigned territory
Calls on dealers, distributors, building materials distributors, and contractors.
- Demonstrates products effectively to customers, installers, and prospects.
- Provides product knowledge and assistance to retailers and customers regarding installation information and operation of product.
- Trains retailers and installers in proper use of products.
- Inspects customer inventory levels and assists with reordering.
- Organize sales campaigns including prospecting for new accounts and servicing existing accounts.
- Calculates and quotes prices, closes transactions, and takes orders.
- Coordinates orders and servicing of accounts with inside account representatives.
- Surveys market and prospects including comparative information on competitive products and pricing.
- Manages time for maximum productivity. Prepares efficient itineraries to maximize Company travel time and to contain costs.
- Represents Company and products at trade shows.
- Meets sales quotas.
Skills / Experience:
1. You must have prior success calling on owners of small to medium size companies in a competitive
market.
2. You must have strong closing skills and be willing to prospect.
3. Minimum two years experience in outside sales in similar position or related industry.
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and numeracy skills.
5. Computer competent in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
6. Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
